Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing Gotoco for your TEFL/TESOL training and guaranteed global teaching placement. This policy aims to provide clarity regarding our refund policy to ensure a smooth experience for all participants.

Payment Terms

Participants pay a fee of £1,400 to access our TEFL/TESOL course with a guaranteed placement in Thailand, Vietnam, or Europe. Your full placement inclusions are included on your specific programme information page when you're sent an offer for your programme. The full payment is due when you are invited to pay, and this will usually be at least one month prior to the start of the programme.

Funding

Gotoco encourages you to apply for funding from your university, such as Turing Scheme funding, where possible. Gotoco supports your application and you can email us at any time for support for your application to your university. You can also see a list of our partner universities on this link: https://questions.go-to.co/article/109-which-universities-partner-with-gotoco . If your university is not on this link, you can still contact the relevant department to apply for funding and we will support your application.

Non-Refundable Policy

Please note that once the payment has been made, it is non-refundable. This policy is in place to cover the costs associated with the TEFL course, placement arrangements (e.g. accommodation), and other administrative expenses.

Refund Appeals

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. If you believe you have a valid reason for requesting a refund, you may submit an appeal by email to our Refunds Committee. Please include:

  • Your full name and contact information
  • Details of your appeal
  • Supporting information regarding your situation

Grounds for Refund

Refunds and partial refunds are generally only considered in exceptional circumstances, such as medical emergencies or other significant issues that may prevent participation. Each appeal will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Appeal Review Schedule

Refund appeals are reviewed twice per year by Gotoco's Refunds Committee. You will be notified of the committee’s decision via email.
