Policy on Certificate Issuance and Apostille Services

1. Electronic Certificates as Standard

   • Certificates issued by our organization are provided in electronic format. These electronic versions are valid within the UK. For any UK (or other nation's) certificate to be valid internationally, it must go through Apostille (or equivalent) processing -which we can help with.

     Hard Copy Certificates

   • Hard copies are not routinely provided. If a hard copy is required, the requester must provide a specific reason to justify the need.

   • Should a hard copy be necessary, an associated processing cost will apply. This cost will be determined based on fees from the issuing authority (AO) and internal processing. For most TEFL courses this can be arranged for £70.

     Certificates for Overseas Use

   • For use in overseas jurisdictions, original electronic versions of the certificates can be apostilled.

   • Apostilling involves:

     a) Verification of the e-version by a UK lawyer.

     b) Printing, stamping, and submission to the UK Foreign Office for processing.

   • We offer apostille services at cost, approximately £120, compared to market rates typically exceeding £200 (see Google for more.)

     Request Process for Hard Copies or Apostille Services

   • To request a hard copy certificate or to find out more about the Apostille process, please contact our team and provide the necessary justification.
   • Once the need is confirmed, we will coordinate the process and provide a cost estimate.
